Hello Sathithya!
You most probably can! As because you have a nursing background only. After a BSc in critical care technology, you can go try for enrolling in BSc Nursing (Post Basic). If possible obtain a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and register yourself in Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM).
You can work as a critical care nurse after this and also as Chief Nursing Officer, Rehabilitation Specialist, Nursing Manager, Paramedic Nurse, Community Health Specialist and Nursing Supervisor
Hope this answer is helpful:)
Yes, they might give you medicine and injection. They are well specialized and are trained in this field. Critical nurses provide care to the patients in the intensive care unit and treat most vulnerable and injured person. They are registered and outlined by the government of the country.
You need to register yourself with the State Nursing Counsil to become a Registered Nurse. And to be a Nurse Practitioner, you need to have atleast one year of Practise as a Registered Nurse in India. So post completing your B.Sc in Critical Care Technology, you need to register yourself with your State Nursing Counsel to become a Registered Nurse.
Mamata, there is no bridge course from B.Sc Nursing to MBBS. NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. So if you have either completed your Nursing or you are pursuing your Nursing course, you can appear for NEET based on your 12th.
