i want to become a nurse and want to work abroad what all the things i have to do

tanoshree rana 11th Dec, 2020

Hello aspirant!
Hope you are doing well!

I would like to appreciate you focus on your career and choice you have made. At this stage the main advantage is job scope. The health care industry is a booming one, showing no signs of slowing down
Nursing is one such profession that can help you emigrate abroad and work there countries like Canada, US, Ireland, New Zealand etc have been facing shortage, when it comes to qualified nurses. Hence provide a huge potential.

1. Firstly, you have to complete graduation in nursing. B Sc (can follow it up with an M Sc) in nursing or go for Diploma courses

2. To work abroad,  complete the ‘bridging program’ or the ‘adaptation program’ of that particular country abroad.

3.This has to be followed by registering as a nurse in that country via the Nursing Registration Council.

Hope this helps!

After completing bsc nursing is there any later entry in mbbs course? Bridge that connects nurse to doctor. Is there any way to become doctor after bsc nursing?? According to new education policy 2019. Please guide.

Tanaya Giri 28th Oct, 2020

Hi Geeta,

After reading your question I thought it is not possible, but then I did some research and found that, you can join MBBS course after doing any other course, But you have to crack entrance exam. which is NEET to get into a MBBS course anywhere in India. This has increased the competition, but has also increased the number of seats available to the general public.

Thank You.

Please help! Can I any type of doctor after doing bsc and msc in nursing. Please help i want to become any type of doctor, please tell the path how can I become surgery doctor after becoming nurse. Please tell any technic...

Shibili 23rd Oct, 2020

Hi,

Presently in India, a nurse can become a doctor only if you study mbbs. And for this you need to qualify Neet exams. There is no connection or easy steps to be a doctor for a nurse. To be a Nurses or Medical Doctors, students have to study two different courses respectively.

I think there are options at abroad for nurses to be doctor.
