Im a humanities student and I wanted to become a nurse. how I could become a certified professional nurse?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 7th May, 2020
Hi

To become a Nurse, you need to do BSc nursing, but being a Humanities student , you cannot do BSc nursing as to be eligible for BSC nursing one must have passed their class 12th board examination with physics chemistry and Biology.

For example, to be eligible for AIIMS BSc (H) nursing , you must have studied English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as mandatory subjects in and should have got at least 55% in aggregate if you are from Gen/OBC or 50% if you are from SCs/STs category

So if you want to become a Nurse, you again need to study class 12th with science stream with physics, chemistry, biology, English , you can even do this from open boards like in NIOS

Thankyou
