No, NEET is not mandatory for BSC Nursing in West Bengal.

Neet examination is mandatory for following courses only

  • MBBS

  • BDS

  • Ayush courses( Ayurveda i. e BAMS , Unani i.e B. U. M. S, Siddha i. e BSMS, and Homeopathy i.e BHMS ) and

  • veterinary i. e BVSc. .

Yes, the gujcet marks will be considered for making the merit list. Usually, 60% of marks from 12th grade and 40% from gujcet are considered in making a merit list. Mostly a good score in 12th can push up your merit standard. Hope this information clarifies the doubts.
