As I can see that ppmet test is an entrance test for b.sc nursing in Punjab. But as far as it is concerned it is not mandatory to give the test to be eligible for b.sc nursing. You can very well apply for this course. You are eligible

There's no such thing as lateral entry in case of MBBS, if you want to pursue it you have to appear for NEET for which eligibility is passed 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry Biology/Biotechnology,English from a recognized board, those having biology as additional subjects too can apply, in addition to this
