Hlw sir i have 86 percentile in jee mains 2022 belongs to SC category. Can i get any top nits which is under top 20. Im belongs to state Odisha.

Anurag Khanna 16th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

On such percentile even after considering your SC quota you have almost no chances to get any of the NITs but you can go for some IIITs and GFTIs that are discussed below.

As per your percentile in JEE-Main 2022,

>>>>> your SC rank is expected around 8000-12000 .

Now on such CRL rank you can have chances in following colleges based on your JEE-Main rank :-

IIIT Una - Indian Institute of Information Technology, Himachal

J. K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology, Allahabad University

IIIT Manipur - Indian Institute of Information Technology Senapati

North Eastern Hill University, Shillong

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Main rank/score you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

I got 1,96,000 rank in obc category in Jee mains 2022,Can i get seat/admission in VSSUT or in any other government college in Odisha,I have got state quota as well.

Sevit Kar 20th Aug, 2022

Hello,

It is a very dicy situation because the lowest branch has the cut off of around 2-2.2L which is the production engineering branch. I would suggest you that to keep private colleges as a back up to be on a safer side.

Colleges like VIT Vellore , SRM University , Manipal University, BITs Pilani are one of the best among the private colleges.

If you want to check out the colleges you can get , you can take the help of the college predictor link given below-

can i change my exam center from Delhi to place Berhampur Dist.Ganjam state of Odisha

shivamtrivedi0005 5th Jul, 2022

Hello

The candidate cannot modify the examination centre once it has been assigned to them. The admit card issued for the exam contains information about the exam centre. Candidates must arrive at the designated NEET 2022 exam site at least two hours prior to the start of the test.

I hope this answered your question.

Thanks
