Sharon Rose Student Expert 19th Jan, 2021

Hello,

If you nare seeking admission in to undergraduate Engineering course then you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with minimum 60% aggregate marks or above in the above mentioned subjects altogether from a recognised board. Since you have scored below 60% aggregate marks in PCM subjects so are not eligible to appear for KIITEE to get Admission in to Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. You may have to appear for improvement examination to score minimum 60% marks to be eligible. The admission is based on merit in KIITEE.

best book name for bsc physics frist year in odisha

S. Saha Student Expert 1st Dec, 2020
Usually in the first year, basics of Thermal Physics, Classical mechanics, Electronics, Waves and Optics and Mathematics are involved in the syallbus. So you don't need to go for any difficult or high standard reference books. If you start with a simple one, it would be better for you. And can increase the level as you promote to the next level. Books like Modern Optics by AB Gupta, ELECTRONIC device and Circuit Theory by R Boyelstad and Nashelsky, Classical Mechanics by Goldstein, Schaum's Outline Series- McGraw Hill, Heat and Thermodynamics by Zemansky and Ditman etc.

I got 548 mark in neet2020 .i will get a mbbs govt seat in odisha or not .for OBC caste . dont compare this mark for previous year .

Anurag Khanna 26th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See the NEET counselling for this year is not completed yet so it's quite not possible to determine the exact cut-offs for different institutions therefore we can guide you for your admission possibilities on the basis of previous year's cut-off.

So according to the marks and category mentioned by you in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 23695-27650, you can check out marks Vs ranks from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank

So on such rank and category you have good chances of getting some medical colleges in Odisha under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges :-

  • PRM Medical College & Hospital, Baripada
  • S L N Medical College & Hospital, Koraput
  • Govt. Medical College, Balangir

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-odisha

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
