Hello!
It is extremely important to concentrate in 11th syllabus too. Don't take your 11th syllabus lethargic they are the game turners in JEE as well as NEET. During your holidays 11th-12th summer vacation complete your 11th syllabus and start working with 12th syllabus. Before KVPY, JEE as well as NEET take mock papers, with time limit. Do not take even extra 1minute during practice. When it comes to competitive exams that too when they have negative marking scheme, do not give a try for answers which you don't know. For mock practice make use of embibe (google it). For concept learning and topic wise practice use H.C.Verma for Physics, Solomon's Fryle for organic chemistry, use your textbook for inorganic chemistry (NCERT (CBSE) for reference for detailed learning. Use pdf), P Bahadur's book for physical chemistry, RD Sharma objective for mathematics and (NCERT book is an excellent source) Objective biology by Dinesh for biology. Taking mock will teach you lots of new concepts. Atleast take 20mock papers before exam.
Prepare well, do not waste time. ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.
Thank You

Hello Student,
NCERT books are the main requirement of a JEE aspirant or a NEET aspirant. These are written in a very simple language. And whatever other books you are reading , NCERT books are must for JEE and NEET exams. These will cover your basic concepts very clearly. Start from NCERT books and only then move to some tough books for problems. You can read other books too, but NCERT books are must for both the exams.
hope this helps
Hello Aspirant,
On such rank and category you have good chances of getting Private medical college in Odisha under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get below mentioned college :-
Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Dear Aspirant,
At such a high rank of yours it is highly unlikely that you will get a government seat in any of the government engineering colleges of Odisha in OJEE lateral entry. All Government engineering Institutes of the state provide admission to students in lateral entry with a much better rank than what you have achieved. If you have some sort of reservation, still it is going to be difficult for you as you still need a very good quota rank.
The closing ranks of the different government colleges for Lateral Entry in Civil Engineering are:-
1) College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar------- 347
2) Government College of Engineering, Kalahandi, Bhawanipatna--------- 1096
3) Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang----607
4) Parala Maharaj Engineering College, Berhampur:--------901
5) Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla ------ 326.
So you can see where you stand with respect to the cutoff ranks for civil engineering that the colleges have kept for admission for students through OJEE lateral entry. Although the number of seats have increased in recent years, there has also been tremendous increase in the number of applicants.
However, at this rank of yours, you can easily get admission in any of the private engineering colleges even in the best private engineering college of the state. Before joining any of the private institutes, you should compare them against each other to know by yourself which is the better college for you to take admission in your preferred Institute. In order to compare, all you need to do is to just click on this URL:-
