Yes you need to give OPENMAT for admissions in  Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi for M.B.A program. Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a minimum 2.5 years and maximum 8 years distance program offered by Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi admission will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the OPENMAT, conducted all over India twice a year.  National Testing Agency (NTA), the conducting body of IGNOU OPENMAT MBA 2021 will conduct the same in online mode tentatively in April 2021. Yes, you have to attend the IGNOU OPENMAT MBA for your admission in MBA at IGNOU. Though you have appeared in other competitive exams, you have to attend the Entrance Exam conduct by IGNOU.

The IGNOU OPENMAT result is out. You can download your scorecard at ignou.ac.in .The score is valid for the following 2 semesters ie Janurary 2020 or July 2020. The cut off for various categories is as follows:

General- 61-78

OBC- 57-50

SC- 54-60

ST- 52-53

PH- 50-75

Yes, you have qualified the OPENMAT. Since you have qualified you have to download the admission form available in the prospectus. You can then apply to various regional IGNOU centres of your choice.

Eligibility as per AICTE norms for IGNOU MBA Admissions 2020:

• Age limit - There was no age limit to apply for IGNOU MBA courses

• Entrance Test - All candidates must clear OPNEMAT XLVII or XLVI conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)

• Educational Qualification- Candidates must have graduation degree with 50% marks for general category and 45% for reserved category. In the case of CGPA, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility percentage requirement.

You have 50% in UG but you have not clear the cutoff for the general Category as per last year cutoff. If you have reservations then you would have cleared the cutoff. I would suggest to wait until this year cutoffs are out.

There was a correction facility available even after form submission till 20th july where candidates were allowed to make any correction and it's already over, now I don't think you can change your IGNOU OPENMAT exam centre, admit card has already been released and the exam is scheduled to be on 15th September, 2020.

You can make changes in IGNOU OPENMAT 2020 only within the given specific time.The correction window was available from 6th July to 20th July 2020. The correction period is over now you cannot make changes in your examination centre and you cannot make any request to change the examination centre through any other mode. The admit card is yet to be released so you need to appear the exam in the given examination centre.
