what is the process for giving ouat entrance exam ?? means in which month we have to fill the application form, what is the fees, which month admit card release , which month we will give exam. OUAT (Orissa University Agricultural and Technology) exam offers admission into various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Courses. Here are some important dates of OUAT exam-

Release of Application form (A category)- Second week of February, 2021

Last date to fill OUAT exam form- Fourth Week of March, 2021

Release of Admit Card- Third week of April, 2021

Conduction of Exam- Fourth week of April, 2021

Declaration of Result- Last week of May, 2021

Release of Merit list rank wise- last week of June, 2021

Commencement of Councelling- July, 2021

how can an ICAR student get admission in OUAT?? what is the procedure n method??pls explain me

Hello Dear,

Admission to UG courses in Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) is conducted via OUAT CET and ICAR.

OUAT CET is composed of 200 multiple choice questions from the following subjects:

Physics 66 Marks

Chemistry 66 Marks

Mathematics/Biology 68 Marks

The steps to follow for OUAT  CET 2021 Registration :

Step1 : Fill in the Application Form A , released in their official website ( http://ouat.nic.in/profile )

Step 2 : Pay the application fee

Step 3 : Upload Photograph and Signature

Step 4: Take Application printout

If you are giving ICAR and want to take admission into OUAT follow these below mentioned steps :


  • Visit OUAT official website ( www.ouat.ac.in . )

  • Click the Admission tab. All the important links will be listed on the Admission page.

  • Click the applicable link for the course you want to apply for.

  • The link leads you to the online payment of the application fee of 1000/- through the SBI Collect facility.

  • After successfully making the payment, fill up the form and submit it.

Whats better: a BSC agriculture in OUAT, Bhubaneswar or in SSU, Cuttack?

You may prefer B.Sc Agriculture in OUAT Bhubaneshwar over SSU Cuttack.

Orissa University of Agriculture Technology is a much better University indulged in Education and Research of Agriculture Technology and Rural Studies. The institute has excellent faculty and facilities besides having an excellent tradition of producing Academicians, Researchers, Agricultural Engineers, Government Servants and brilliant professionals in the past 6 decades.

Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) is one of the oldest agricultural universities in India, which was founded in 1962. It offers undergraduate, post-graduate, and research programs with quality education in Agriculture and Technology.

The university conducts an entrance examination to grant admission in the PG courses. The exam is of 100 marks and the duration is 2 hours. The questions are composed of two categories:

Objective (Multiple Choice) – 40 Marks

Short Answers – 60 Marks

What is the fee structure of MCA in OUAT,Bhubaneshwar?

well the fees is quite high in MCA in OUAT,Bhubaneshwar .

you have to pay fees in semester wise where first semester fees is around 60k around where for second semester you have to pay around 40k so almost you have to pay 1lpa in first year.

I have appeared ouat exam and i scoard only 77 marks out off 200 , and after councelling my seet is alloated for horticulter in chipilima in odisha . but my father is giving advise for fishery . i am verry much confused between hoticulter and fishery . so what can i do please tell me please???

I havent filled form B for OUAT, can I get a seat ?

Hello Sahil!

It is compulsory for you to fill Form B because it is where you will enter your 10th percentage, and 12th PCB/PCM percentage also. And you also know that these details are very important to calculate your OUAT weightage. Your OUAT weightage will then decide your merit rank. On the basis of merit rank and category, you will be a allotted a course.

If you have not filled form B for OUAT entrance, you cannot get a seat. Form A will ensure your registration and payment for OUAT UG entrance exam and the Form B filling is important if you want a seat in OUAT.
