i did not fill up ouat form b. can i still get an admission?

Radhika Goyal 29th Sep, 2024

Hy,

If you did not fill out the OUAT (Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology) admission form, it may be challenging to secure admission for the upcoming academic year, especially if the application deadline has already passed. Here are a few options you might consider:

  1. Contact the University : Reach out to the admissions office of OUAT directly. They can provide specific guidance on whether late applications are accepted or if there are any alternative admission routes available.

  2. Check for Open or Spot Admissions : Some universities may conduct open or spot admissions if seats are still available after the regular admission process. Inquire if this is an option.

  3. Future Admissions : If you cannot get admitted this year, consider preparing for the next admission cycle. Stay informed about the application dates and requirements.

  4. Other Universities : Look into other universities offering similar programs where you might still be able to apply.

Sir, I got 5385 rank in ouat 2024. can i get any branches in ouat?

Radhika Goyal 13th Oct, 2024

Hy,

With a rank of 5385 in the OUAT (Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology) entrance exam for 2024, your chances of securing a seat in any branch depend on the specific cutoffs for each course and category.

Based on previous trends, the closing ranks for various programs at OUAT can vary significantly. For instance, in 2024, some branches like B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture and related fields have closing ranks that can be quite competitive. Generally, seats in popular courses fill up quickly, especially in the first few rounds of counseling.

Given your rank, it may be challenging to secure admission in high-demand programs like Veterinary Science or certain branches of Agriculture, but you might still have a chance in less sought-after programs or in later rounds of counseling as candidates drop out or change their preferences.

It's essential to stay updated with the official OUAT counseling announcements and prepare to participate in any subsequent rounds if available. You can check the latest cutoff information and available courses on the OUAT official website  for the most accurate and timely details.

can I get seat in bsc agri in ouat 2024 I have scored 90 my 10th was 85 %and my 12th 55% .can I get atleast costshearing seat ? Plz replay to my qustion I am too much stressed

Radhika Goyal 13th Oct, 2024

Hy,

With a rank of 53,85 in the OUAT 2024 entrance exam, you may have some chances of securing admission in the B.Sc. Agriculture program, although it may depend on a few factors including the specific category you fall under (General, SC, ST, etc.) and the availability of seats during the counseling process.

OUAT considers a combination of entrance exam scores and previous academic performance (10th and 12th grades) for admissions. The cutoff ranks can vary each year based on several factors including the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the overall performance of candidates. In past years, candidates with higher ranks (like yours) have been able to secure admission, especially in less sought-after branches or in seats that are cost-sharing.

To improve your chances, you should participate actively in the counseling process, monitor the merit list closely, and be prepared to accept any available seats during the counseling sessions. It's also advisable to stay informed about the closing ranks for the branches you are interested in, as this will give you a clearer idea of your prospects.

Hello I got 90 percent in 10 class and 78 percent in 12 class and 75.955 percentile in ouat can i get a seat in bsc agriculture cost free seat ?

Ishita 29th Aug, 2024

Hello Aspirant

The eligibility criteria for free seats in B.Sc. Agriculture programs can vary depending on the specific institution and government schemes. However, based on the information you've provided, here's a general assessment:

Factors affecting eligibility:

  • Government Schemes: Many states in India offer free or subsidized seats in agriculture colleges through government schemes. The eligibility criteria for these schemes can vary based on factors like:
    • Family Income: There might be income limits below which students can qualify for free seats.
    • Category: Students from reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC) might have priority for free seats.
    • Domicile: Some schemes might require students to be residents of the particular state.
  • Institutional Policies: Individual institutions may also have their own scholarship schemes or fee concessions. The criteria for these can vary.

Given your good academic record in Class 10 and 12, you have a good chance of being eligible for free seats in B.Sc. Agriculture programs, especially if you belong to a reserved category or if your family income falls below the specified limits. But keep in mind that solely based on your academic performance, your chances of a scholarship is quite low because your marks are slightly above average.

Hope this helps

i have secured 66.996 percentile in ouat 2024 .my 10 percentage is 86 and 12 is 84 percentage ouat score is 83 will i be selected

monag2673 16th Jul, 2024
  • OUAT Weightage: The OUAT entrance exam score carries significant weightage. Your score of 83 is good, but the overall cut-off depends on various factors.
  • Academic Performance: Your 10th and 12th percentages (86 and 84) are commendable and will contribute positively to your overall score.
  • Category: Your category (if applicable) can influence the cut-off.
  • Number of Applicants: The number of applicants and their scores can affect the cut-off.
  • Available Seats: The number of seats in your desired course and category will determine the final cut-off.

Your Chances:

With a 66.996 percentile and good academic records, your chances of securing admission in OUAT are fairly good. However, it's essential to consider the factors mentioned above.

To increase your chances:

  • Check the official OUAT website: Keep an eye on the official website for updates on cut-offs and counselling process.
  • Explore different programs: Consider other programs within OUAT that might have lower cut-offs.
  • Prepare for counselling: If you qualify, prepare for the counselling process to secure your preferred course and college.

hope this helps you!!

I got 88 marks in ouat ug exam and 95.8% in 10th boards and 87.8% in 12th boards j am from general category, will i get into ouat in btech agriculture

sadafreen356 26th Sep, 2024

Based on your scores:

88% in 10th grade,

87 percent 12th grade PCB,

88 in the OUAT response sheet, your calculation is 0.25*88+0.25*87+0.25*88=65.75

As a general category student, you have a competitive academic profile for admission to OUAT. one need to have weightage of 70+ to be in safe side for general category candidates. The cut-off may go down to 65 but below 65 there is very less chance.you are on border line so hope for the best.
