Ishita 29th Aug, 2024

The courses you can get into with your OUAT entrance exam score, Class 10 and 12 scores, OBC category, and Army quota will depend on several factors, including:

  • Number of applicants: The number of applicants for each course will affect the cutoff scores.
  • Seat availability: The number of seats available for each course will also be a factor.
  • Specific course requirements: Some courses may have additional requirements, such as a minimum cutoff score in specific subjects.

However, based on the information you have provided, here are some potential courses you could consider:

  • Agriculture: You may be eligible for B.Sc. Agriculture or other agriculture-related courses.
  • Veterinary Science: You may be eligible for a B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) or other veterinary science courses.
  • Horticulture: You may be eligible for B.Sc. Horticulture or other horticulture-related courses.
  • Fisheries: You may be eligible for B.Sc. Fisheries or other fisheries-related courses.
  • Forestry: You may be eligible for B.Sc. Forestry or other forestry-related courses.

Shambhavi shambhavi 30th Dec, 2024

With 73 marks in the OUAT exam, 77% in 10th, 70% in 12th, and being from the ST category, you have a reasonable chance of securing a government seat in the OUAT (Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology), especially with the ST reservation. However, your chances depend on:

1. The cutoff for your category (ST).

2. The number of seats available and your rank in the exam.

It’s best to keep an eye on the OUAT counseling process and check the previous years' cutoffs for a more accura

i am a OUAT aspirant-in 2024 exam i scored 132 in ouat 10th mark -499/60012th mark -510/600can i get ouat seat in odisha in any colleges

OISHEE BANERJEE 2nd Jul, 2025

With an OUAT score of 132 and strong academic marks—499 out of 600 in 10th and 510 out of 600 in 12th—you have a fair chance of getting a seat in OUAT or its affiliated colleges in Odisha. Based on previous trends, candidates with similar scores have secured seats in courses like B.Sc Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, or even B.V.Sc & A.H., especially if they belong to any reserved category or have Odisha domicile.

Your overall score including weightage from 10th, 12th, and entrance is likely competitive. Final selection depends on the merit list and category cutoffs during counselling. Make sure to complete the Form B process, and keep an eye on the official merit list and counselling schedule. Once it's released, choose your preferences carefully, placing the most desired courses at the top. Let me know your category if you want a more specific estimate.

sir im a PCB student and i got 68 in ouat entrance exam and i secured 92%in 10th and 84% in intermediate can i get a seat in bvsc course in ouat.

Nitin Kumar 11th Jul, 2024

Cutoff marks for BVSc in OUAT change every year depending on the number of applicants, difficulty level of the entrance exam, and seat availability.

OUAT considers a combination of your entrance exam score, 10th standard marks, and 12th standard PCB average (each contributing 25%) to determine your final rank.

Entrance Exam (25%) = 68 / 100 * 25 = 17

10th Standard (25%) = 92 / 100 * 25 = 23

12th Standard PCB (25%) - You haven't mentioned your PCB average. Assuming an average of 84%, then PCB weightage =  84 / 100 * 25 = 21

Estimated Total Weightage: 17 (Entrance) + 23 (10th) + 21 (PCB) = 61

It's recommended to search for previous years' BVSc cutoffs at OUAT. This might give you a general idea of the required weightage for securing a seat. You can search online using keywords like "OUAT BVSc previous year cutoff" or check the university website.

If you belong to a reserved category, the cutoff for your category might be lower, increasing your chances.

Even if BVSc seems unlikely, with your good scores in 10th and 12th, you might have a chance in other allied agricultural science courses at OUAT that typically have lower cutoffs compared to BVSc.
