According to ,e800 to 1000 should be the maximum rank upto which your son can get CSE in second round counselling anf for ECE students must have a rank of 1200 to 1500.Anyways,you can give a try.

You should have worked more as you have all those reservations.
39685 rank is almost around the corner of 40,000. And getting a seat in Bsc(Agri,horti) at Osmania University with this Rank is mostly not possible. As it requires a rank below 5000 (as per few closing rank analysis

you will get good placements in OSMANIA university for chemical engineering while the companies arrive are ITC took five students from 60 members and gave an offer of 6.5 lacs per annum, and Aurobindo gave 5.5 lacs
