Paediatrics
Hello student ,
The course fee charged by medical institutes in India for MD in Pediatrics ranges from INR 5 lacs to 25 lacs. However, for AIIMS, the fees are as low as 5K for deserving candidates. The fee structure also depends upon the type of institute.
Further for the Pediatricians in government sector can expect a salary near INR 5 lacs to 10 lacs while in private sector, one can expect anything between INR 7 lacs to 12 lacs.
Hope it helps !

Hi,
According to NIRF ratings the colleges for MD paediatrics can be ranked as:
MS Ramaiah
Father Mullers
JJMMC
There are still many other colleges to choose from and with even higher ratings but if you want to choose from these three colleges then I would say to go for MS Ramaiah college because it even ranks on second number.
Hopefully it will help you!
Dear Aspirant,
It is good to hear that you already got a seat under ‘A’ Category. The ‘B’ Category reservations are in this manner:
In central-government funded higher education institutions, 22.5% of available seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students (7.5% for STs, 15% for SCs). This reservation percentage has been raised to 49.5% by including an additional 27% reservation for OBCs.
There is a good chance for you to get in the ‘B’ Category, but please understand that the fees are higher than ‘A’ Category.
Good Luck
