I have 6 subjects in class 12 cbse boards. English, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, painting. If I fail in mathematics but pass in rest 5 subjects, can I get admission in govt medical colleges?? (provided I crack NEET UG with decent rank)

Awanya Dabas 25th Mar, 2020

Hey!

According to the government medical colleges eligibility criteria, you require minimum 50% marks in 10+2 with physics, chemistry, biology and English.

Also, If you fail in the optional subject then the result will come out as PASS.

Hope this answer helps!

my cbse boards marks are as follow Physics 69 English. 80 Maths. 40 Chemistry 56 Painting. 92 % 67 I have already filled JEE MAINS, VIT, BITSAT, COMEDK, MHTCET, CUSAT my question is please tell me what exam on which I should target with my percentage to get best engineering college ?

Sarthak Dhiman 24th Mar, 2020

Hello Aspirant.

As you've scored 67 percentage in class 12th and as you know that you need atleast 75%( for general) aggregate in 12th to get college through JEE main examination and BITSAT. And you need 60% in each subject pcm to get admission into vit through VITEEE. Henceforth, if you're from general category it would be best for you to focus on COMEDK examination.

If you're from OBC/SC/ST category then focus on JEE main examination as for them NTA request 65% in 12th.

Best of luck

mbose hsslc exam pattern for 2020 is cbse pattern, they are going to follow cbse,so should I solve cbse previous years paper

Anamika 8th Feb, 2020
It is not clear whether they will follow the CBSE question pattern though the books prescribed are NCERT. Most likely MBOSE will keep their own pattern.

sir i have 6 subject physics, chemistry, math, English, painting, music .And my educational board is cbse bit if i failed in physics and chemistry then can i give compartment or not.

Prakarsh Kaushik 11th Mar, 2020

Hello,

Unfortunately, you can't give compartment exam in two subjects. Even if you have 6 subjects you can choose to appear in only one of them.

In your case, for compartment you can either appear for Physics or Chemistry. For other subjects you have to appear in next year board exam that is March 2021.

You can check more about this from official site of CBSE by clicking here - http://cbse.nic.in/examin~1/scheme06ex.htm

i got 33in maths and 77 in chem 68 in phy 99in painting and 92in English am i eligible for mains paper 2 ...and i m also giving improvement in maths in 2020...plz tell me

Arya 8th Nov, 2019

Hi Anupama,

The recently released JEE-Mains notification clearly mentions that the candidate should have passed the 12th or equivalent examination. If your overall result is Pass, you can definitely answer Mains-2. However, I would suggest you to wait for your improvement paper results to avoid any complications.

However, you will not be eligible for admission in IIT or NIT as they require a minimum cutoff of 75%.

Disha B 26th May, 2018

Hi Prashanjit,

Pros- good infrastructure, located in metropolitan city Kolkata, good package of internship

Cons- high fees, lower patient inflow as it is mainly for insured people, new college and not as well established as other government medical colleges of WB.

Good luck to you!
