Hello dear student !
You should have mentioned your category also, so that answering your query more property would be easy. Meanwhile, Pandit Deendayal petroleum University, Gujarat is quite nice University. From previous years's cut offs, for unreserved category , rank of around 18-25k is needed to get into PDPU which is equivalent to 97-98 percentile to get a seat. So with 75 percentile in mains, it is almost impossible to get a seat in PDPU.
Hope this will help you!
Hello Aspirant.
As you've mentioned that you secured 89 percentile in JEE main examination and also belong to the general category then according to it your admission in NIRMA or PDPU is extremely difficult as you don't match their criteria.
If you have some quota that you can present then there might be a chance of you getting admission there.
Best of luck !
Hi Vatsal,
Not even NTA can tell you the exact marks you need to secure to get into any of them because of the percentile systems which categorises the candidates into groups. That is if your percentile is 90 then you are better than 90 percent of population. Now this means even scoring 0 you can still get 90 percentile as there could be 90 percent candidates who have secured less than 0. To get into any of them for safe side you need to score 200+.
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well!! As you got decent percentile i.e. 95.07, so according to the given formula
(100 - your percentile)*869010/100
Your rank will be around 42,840. So you can get admission in Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology(DAIICT) very easily and you have also chances to sit in the counselling for PDPU, Gandhinagar.
I suggest you to make yourself prepare for JEE-Advance exam because it can give more prestigious institutes like IITs, IISER, etc.
Hope this helps you. For further queries feel free to ask.
Good Luck!!
