Between Chitkara University, Chandigarh and Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), Chitkara stands out as the stronger option overall, especially if you're looking for better exposure, modern facilities, and stronger placement opportunities. Chitkara has built a solid reputation across North India due to its NAAC A+ accreditation, national collaborations, industry-oriented curriculum, and impressive placement record. Big companies like Deloitte, Wipro, Amazon, Zscaler, and Infosys regularly visit the Chitkara campus, and many students secure packages that are above average, especially in Computer Science and allied branches. The campus is large, modern, and vibrant, with a wide variety of clubs, events, innovation labs, and opportunities to participate in industry projects, hackathons, and international tie-ups.
On the other hand, PIET offers a more disciplined, academically focused environment that is respected within Haryana. The faculty at PIET are approachable and supportive, often giving more individual attention to students compared to what you'd find in a large university like Chitkara. The campus is clean and well-maintained, with decent labs, a peaceful atmosphere, and an emphasis on attendance and academic performance. PIET placements are decent for streams like CSE and IT, but the opportunities are usually limited to mid-level companies, and the average package is comparatively lower. However, the overall cost of studying at PIET is much more affordable than Chitkara, making it a good option for students looking for quality education at a reasonable price.
In short, if you're someone who wants better placements, wide exposure, a vibrant campus life, and a brand name on your resume, Chitkara University is clearly the better option. But if you prefer personalized attention, strict academics, and an affordable, focused college experience, PIET can be a more grounded and practical choice. The decision ultimately depends on what kind of learning environment you value more.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that on comparison to piet college , Jawahar lal Nehru government engineering college (jngec) is far better than pigec in terms of placements, infrastructure , academics and facilities.
The JNGEC College has excellent faculty and labs. But lack in hostel and ground since college is still under construction. In study wise it is very good with excellent library.
Talking about placements in JNGEC- this college offers good number of placements offers. The placement of electronics and textile department is excellent in college. Each year many students get placed in various companies with good package. Now the companies civil and mechanical engineering is also coming in the college. Students get package upto 25 lakhs.

This is a question from Oscillations chapter physics. You need to have your base very strong to attempt this question successfully. Your dynamics and Kinemetics concepts should be very clear. Projectile motion, force, laws of motion, these chapters and their formulas should be thoroughly known. And once you do, surelt practice such questions as they increase your confidence and also expose you to the type of questions to be asked in the competitive exams.
So now coming back to your question, here's the solution. The answer is it will take 1 second time. I'll show you how -
Since the particles begins its SHM from extreme it will already have difference of 90o
⇒X=Asin(ωt+90o)
X=Acos(ωt)
Now, Time period (T)=6=ω2x
⇒ω=3π
At X=2A
⇒2A=Acos(3πt)
⇒cos(3πt)=21
⇒3πt=3π
⇒t=1sec
Best wishes buddy. Thankyou.
