Christ University is a private deemed University while Patna University is a Government University. However, Christ University is better than Patna University for pursuing M.sc Zoology course. Christ University has been ranked 20th in the NIRF ranking while Patna University is not even provided the rank. Christ University has NAAC A accreditation which encompasses that the University has good Infrastructure, teaching methodologies and Placements while Patna University has been accreditated with NAAC B++ certificate. The median salary package offered by Christ University is more while Patna University has few placements only.

So, Christ University is better than Patna University for pursuing M.sc in Zoology.

Up to till there is no notifications regarding Distance Education offered by Patna University.

According to some of the newspaper during the period of May,2020 it was published that this facility is going to be stopped due to different problems faced by Patna University. Regarding this no officially issued notification is also available. So saying when it will be done or either it will be done or not is quite a problem.

Although you can try one thing. Just try to contact the competent authority via formal email or phone number (provided in the website) and get clear all your confusion. According to me this is a feasible solution.

to tell you the truth yes you have chances of getting your preferred branch in your preferred University but the chances are quite bleak.

you are right at the borderline and you may get your preferred course in tthe or fourth merit list.

For M.Sc  regular courses admission , the last date of submission of the online application form is 5 October 2020 ie. including quota 31 October. Than under casual vacancy it is till 28 November 2020.

After that the counselling will be only for those that as shortlisted by the college ie. When they declare the merit list.

TO apply in this college for PG you have to take the Patna University Common Entrance Test (PUCET).
