There will we get pension in marchant navi after retirement

Tanya Gupta 19th Jan, 2024

Hello,

Merchant Navy is a private job and hence there is no pension benefits available. However, many people make investments and savings during their working years to secure their financial future after retirement. It's important to plan ahead and consider options such as private pension schemes or other investment avenues to ensure a comfortable retirement.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

while making ews certificate students father no more and mother housewife and income is only pension then its mandatory to make income certificate? can we attach pension document with it instead of income certificate?

Arhana Chakraborty 5th May, 2022

Nope! Getting an Income certificate will be required for the family. You can collect the document from the BDO/SDO and it don't take much of time. As your mother is a housewife and there is no income except the mention, then take the pension slip to the SDO and you will be issued the required certificate. For EWS certificate the Income certificate is important as you have to provide some proof in the Affidavit.

Wish you a great eve!

Pensions in Railway and Civil services has not been discontinued . If one have worked for more than 10 years for Indian Railways then he/she is eligible for pension. One can enjoy life time security through pension given by Railways to its employees.

In civil services, IAS officers are provided lifetime pension facilities according to New pension policy reintroduced for all government employees.

Im from Andhra Pradesh. I got 785 rank in Ecet exam. I have a doubt on fee reimbursement process. My mother is taking pension from Ap government of Rs-2250/- under widow quota. Is there any problem to get fee reimbursement. Am I eligible or not. Pls clarify this doubt..!

Sree Student Expert 13th Oct, 2021

Hello Dhana,

Don't worry you will get fees reimbursement if you are eligible for it. If your parents are working in Government sector only then you won't be eligible. No problem with the pension your mother is getting and it is totally different thing from fees reimbursement thing.

You can apply for fees reimbursement if you are eligible by providing all the necessary documents.

I hope this information was useful.

All The Best!!

Hi. So my familys annual income is 5 lakh 40 thousand ( including pension) My family has a house which is more than 1000sq ft. but it is legally on my grandmothers name (alive) and not my father. my father owns no property whatsoever. Will I be eligibe for EWS ?

kajal Choudhary 29th Sep, 2021

No candidate as per the government norms your total family income is below 8 LPA but your residential flat is above 1000sq ft, so you are not eligible as a EWS candidate. Also if the land is legally on your grandmother's name but still it will come under your total family residential area.

Thank You!

does judges get pension who has gone Through lower judiciary .

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 30th Aug, 2021
Hello,

Only retired Judges of Supreme Court and High court get retirement pension. On December 22, 2003, the Centre introduced New re-structured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme for new entrants to the Central government service appointed on or after January 1, 2004. And after that the new pension scheme applies retrospectively to all the judicial officers who have been appointed on or after 2004.

I hope this helps.
