I got 96.47 percentile score for jee paper 2A Will I be able to enter any NIT ??

Nimisha Sharma 1st Oct, 2021
According to your percentile, your CRL rank in jee mains paper 2 must have been around 5500-5700. Generally, all NITs and SPAs have closing rank in the range 2500-3000. This means your rank is quite low for NIT even for home state NIT.

You can try for other architecture colleges accepting jee mains score. Check out the link below.

i got 2.4 lk crl rank st category and i got 75 percentile suggest me nits

Ayush 28th Sep, 2021

Hello candidate,

It's very difficult for you to get into any of the National Institute of Technology colleges of the country because this colleges have a relatively higher cut off as compared to the rank you have obtained both in all India category as well as your specific category rank. So, it's better if you look out for other  private Universities and deemed institutions offering engineering courses through JEE scores. For more details you can visit https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor

CRL:462891.,,Category rank (SC):37192.,Can I get any NITs ?My percentile is 52.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 24th Sep, 2021

Hi

Your profile suggests that your home state is Telangana

It's quite difficult to predict because cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-

******number of students that appeared in the  jee main exam,

****** number of available seats,

****** performance of different students in the examination,

****** the category you belong etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then

>>>>> with your  mentioned rank

You have low chance in NITs.

For example,

Closing rank for some of the lower NIT for SC category is provided below as 6th josaa counselling 2020 :-

  • NIT Mizoram :- civil engineering :- 8376 sc rank

  • Nit nagaland :- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering:- 8641  sc rank

  • National Institute of Technology Agartala, Production Engineering :- 9207 sc rank

You can verify the above at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So, you need at least sc rank of around 8000 - 9000 for nits.

But yes,

You have chances in some of the government engineering colleg which are listed below along with the link for their previous year cutoff :-

-------) Vikram University, Ujjain :- https://www.careers360.com/university/vikram-university-ujjain/cut-off

-------) Institute of People's Science and Technology, Chitrakoot :- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/institute-of-peoples-science-and-technology-chitrakoot/cut-off

-------) University Institute of Technology Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Shahdol:- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/university-institute-of-technology-rajiv-gandhi-proudyogiki-vishwavidyalaya-shahdol/cut-off

This prediction of colleges is  based of past year data but  cut off or closing rank changes every year depending upon many factors like the number of students that give the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main  for different shifts etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

To help you  further,

Minimum percentile in jee main 2021 to qualify it to  be eligible for jee advanced 2021 is given below :-

--------) general :-87.8992241 percentile

--------) EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile

--------) OBC-NCL :- 68.0234447 percentile

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Nov, 2021

Hi

It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available

------------) the category you are from etc

Anyway,

when we go through previous year trends

>>>>>> With 197 marks,

You have low chances for mbbs in government colleges

But yes,

You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their cut off rank in neet 2020,2nd round all india counselling conducted  for 100 % deemed university seats   :-
