For CS branch the cutoff is around 860 to 900 rank

For  EC branch it's about 1500

For EE branch it's about 2000

For other branches upto 3000 

So there are chances for you ,if not first try for

Though chances are quite less and slim but cant predict anythihng accrately so you must try till the last round and may be you can get if you are lucky enough but as per previous year's trend you can't gewt into PES with ECE branch.

PES is one of the prestigeous private colleges of South india. so cutoffs are quite high for this college. and if we consider CSE then chances are quite low as it gets over woithin 1-2K.

But with this rank you will get branches like civil, biotech etc.

It will be difficult to get an admission in Mechanical Engineering as it's closing rank is 4000. Still any thing can happen this year. you should apply for counselling and wait until last round. If you have any reservation quota then that would have help you.

If you have

Vishnu, in PES University for CSE branch the rank goes up at max up to 900 after the last round. Beyond that the branch closes for admission.

And for admission in any branch in the university, rank must be within 3k.
