yes you can get an admission in main campus but for CSE the chance is low as the closing rank is below 1k.

you have high chances in CIVIL,Mechanical and Biotech Engineering as the closing rank is 3k.

for Core Branches like ECE and EEE you also have chance

At this rank,I am sorry but you won't even be called for the counselling as far as I know. I hope you would have written KCET or COMEDK,if you have then try other colleges. 

P.S PES accepts KCET scores also and the fee is even lesser through KCET.

Dear candidate, I am sorry to state that your PESSAT rank would be insufficient to get admission in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering. 

However you can be considered for Bio-Technology or Civil Engineering.

According to previous years cutoff you can easily get mechanical branch in main campus with this rank.

You also have chances of getting this branch in 1st round itself.

But this scenario changes every year and there is no certainty for this.

You can check previous years cutoff to

Prajwal, depending on your rank, you might have a chance of getting EE branch.

Other than that, you can definitely get all the other branches which includes Civil, Mechanical, BioTech etc. But it depends on the number of students who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty

Well ece is quite a popular branch at pes and faces as much stiff competition as cse does from all over india , with a rank of 1645 you are on borderline of getting/not getting ece as cut off rank for round one generally goes upto 1500 for 1st round
