If by any chance you don't get desired branch in pes university then you will have to search for alternatives through other competitions. PESSAT exam is mainly for PES university and its branches. So, you can't get any other college.

Considering your rank and previous year's statistics, you cannot get computer science engineering or electronics and communication engineering in pes university. However wait for the counselling process, it can be very unpredictable at times.

Thanks for your query. With a rank of 9440 it's a bit impossible to get ECE in PESIT campus because ECE closes at around 4k-5k. SO even after various rounds of counselling you won't be able to get an ECE seat in PESIT campus.

Hi, according to previous years cutoff ranks.A rank between 800 to 1000 in pessat can get you a seat in pes south campus computer science branch. It also takes admission through kcet exam if you have given kcet you can check cutoff ranks according to that for cse branch

Yes I think the cutoff this time will go till 1100 and it is possible to obtain a seat at 1082 rank

According to previous years cut off analysis you have no-meagre chances of getting cs at pes, pes university cs branch faces a very stiff competition , cut off rank for pes goes upto 800 generally for round 1 and for round 2 it extends max to max upto 900-1000 so

Thanks for your query. Your pessat rank that is 5700 is very high for computer science in PES university. Even after second round of counselling there is a slightest chance that you'll get civil or mechanical engineering in pes university as the cutoffs are generally very high.
