According to my calculations, yes! You'll definitely get computer science engineering in the PES University, Bangalore, as the minimum ranks they require for students aspiring for that course is above 1000. Since you have a better rank already, there shouldn't be any issues.

since the latest cutoffs are not released yet so according to previous year's survey you can get some idea regarding the same.

I am sorry but with this rank you won't get PES CSE. I am not pretty sure if the admissions are done in management quota,but otherwise merit based,you do not stand a chance. You can check other colleges in Bangalore if you have given COMEDK.

Akhil, in my opinion VIT is better than PES in CSE.

In PES the average  job package is 4.5 LPA, while in VIT it is 6 LPA.

PES has 90%placements, while VIT has 100%.

Faculty and infrastructure of VIT is excellent and top recruiters like Google, Amazon and Intel come
