Hello sir,Here my some questions please give me answer. How many marks need in GATE for get job in ONGC as petroleum engineer? How many vacancies every year from ONGC in petroleum engineer?Currently ONGC goes for campus placement or take through GATE?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 31st Jul, 2021

hi,

see ongc generally hires from IITS and top nits. ongc has past years comparatively less vacancy through gate. so if you are currently studying in b.tech petroleum engineering, you should opts for gate exam, if the psus can not be secured, I suggest you to go for m.tech course from top institute like IITS where you would get decent placement as per your branch.

generally vacancy for any psu for any year can not be predicted, it depends on the organization work opportunity, projects availability, seat matrix available for new employee.

nevertheless, if you have attempted gate exam, you may give a shot to careers360 college predictor tool to know about psu chances and probable name of m.tech colleges:

Anuj Kumar 9th Sep, 2021

Hi,

The fees in NIT Allahabad depends on your Family income. If your family has income in between 1 lakh - 5 lakh then you can get remission of the fees.

NIT Allahabad charges around 56000 per semester for those who have income in between 1-5 Lakh. And for students who had income more than 5 lakh, they had to pay 98000 per semester.

IIIT- Allahabad charges around 98000 per semester. All the fees mentioned doesn't include Mess Charges.

Thanks!!!

Need Suggestion I had completed Diploma in Drilling Engineering. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Now I want to appear for GATE Exam 2022 But I am confused about the subject to choose between Mechanical Engineering & Mathematics & Petroleum Engineering.

Moumoyee Chakraborty 7th Sep, 2021

Dear if you consider the present scenario then Mechanical Engineering will be the best option available to help you stick to your career goals. Now if you are appearing for GATE 2022, prepare yourself really well because your PG fellowship is dependent upon your performance in the exam. Considering the previous years trends M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering will really be beneficial and your dedication will definitely lead you to the doors of success.

Good luck!! Hope it works
