75 percentile pe mumbai ka konsa college milenga

Shivanshu 31st Mar, 2025

Dear

Achieving a 75 percentile in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) typically corresponds to an approximate rank between 75,000 and 87,500.

In Mumbai, several engineering colleges accept MHT CET scores. However, securing admission with a 75 percentile may be challenging for highly competitive branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in top-tier institutions. It's advisable to consider a broader range of colleges and engineering disciplines to enhance your admission prospects.

For a more tailored assessment, you might find it helpful to use tools like the MHT CET College Predictor, which estimates your chances of admission based on your MHT CET score.

Additionally, exploring engineering disciplines with relatively lower cutoffs, such as Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, can increase your chances of securing a seat. It's also beneficial to stay updated with the latest cutoff trends and admission notifications by regularly checking official college websites and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra's official portal.

Prachi Kumari 26th Feb, 2025

Hello Poonam,

Here is a pointwise description of all your issues :-

  • Compartment Result:

    • You scored 23/70 in theory and 30/30 in practical .
    • Generally, passing marks are 33% of total marks (theory + practical) .
    • Your total is 53/100 , which is above 33% , meaning you might have passed.
  • ‘X’ in Result:

    • If your result shows ‘X’ multiple times, it may indicate absent, incomplete, or withheld results .
    • Contact your school or board for clarification.
  • Improvement Exam:

    • If you passed the compartment , improvement is optional .
    • If you skip the improvement exam , it may just be marked absent , with no impact on passing status.
    • Confirm with the board before skipping.

Use platforms like QS World University Rankings or US News Rankings to identify universities with strong engineering faculties.
2. Understand Admission Requirements
Each university has specific requirements, but commonly you’ll need:

Standardized Tests:
For undergraduate: SAT or ACT scores.
For postgraduate: GRE (if required by the institution).

English-taught programs require scores in TOEFL or IELTS.
Other certificates accepted may include PTE or Duolingo English Test in other universities.

A CV/Resume detailing your relevant work experience, internship, or projects.
Financial documents when applying for scholarships or student loans.
4. Applying Through the Right Channels
