Hii,
Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system.
It is a multidisciplinary science that combines physiology, anatomy, molecular biology, developmental biology, cytology, mathematical modeling, and psychology to understand the fundamental and emergent properties of neurons and neural circuits.
Neurotechnology is any technology that has a fundamental influence on how people understand the brain and various aspects of consciousness, thought, and higher order activities in the brain .
B.Sc . in Neurophysiology Technology is an undergraduate degree course that focuses on the functions and measures of the nervous system.
Most of the neurological centres are linked to Clinical Neurophysiology departments based in hospitals.
Neurology is the field of medical specialization that has ample job opportunities in India and also in abroad.
Candidates, those specialized in the field of neurology , they are high in demand as a new technologies and medical advances.
Career opportunities after msc and phd in neuroscience
There fore your salary depends upon your level of experience and yes after bsc if your opt for msc and then phd then you will definitely paid well.
Hope this will help you,
All the very best!!
ISRO needs material scientists but not directly chemists. But you can go for BARC after your Integrated MSc. For ISRO , you will have to complete your MTech in Material science then you can have a job at ISRO.
Integrated PhD from TIFR , JEST participating colleges will really shape your future well. There is no loss for integrated MSc since you will sit in TIFR/JEST after your MSc but if you join Integrated phD then you will get involved in research at the top research institute in India will build your aptitude of research more efficiently than the other.
**Its my thought process. It may differ. You should conduct a internet search about both the courses and then only take a decision.
I hope my answer helps. All the vey best for your future endeavors!
hello,
yes, you are eligible to apply for phd. See the M.Tech course is of 2 years and the validity of gate score is 3 years. You can apply with your same gate score for a phd program or if you want to increase your gate score then you can start fresh means you can give gate exam again and apply for phd program.
all the best!
The salary is entirely dependent on the subject and the proportion of knowledge you have.
Now PhD or Mtech is a very relative term to ones future prospect. If some one is really interested in research then he/she should go for PhD. But if some one is interested in higher studies but just one to do specialization in a field then he/she should apply for Mtech.
So for your career goals it may differ. So you have to decide wisely what to do and take your future path. PhD will offer you a monetary support during your phD period but MTech is a paid course or stipend is very less in comparison to the fees.
But the interest in the subject is the thing what is required.
Have a great eve!
See this are a very complicated judgement which differs from person to person.
Now , the basic way of judgement is you should be wise enough to select whats your preference. If you want to do scientific research in computer science or computer application go for phD. PhD needs a lot of time and perseverance , so you should judge it then only take the decision of phD.
If you want to specialize in specific area and want to be industry relevant. You can go for MTech.
This is a very rough approximation. So you should be careful enough to select the subject as per your career goal.
I hope my answer helps you. All the very best for your future endeavors!
