How can I become a clinical psychologist after completing BA in philosophy?

Anmol Bhargava 18th Jul, 2018

Hello!

You can apply for a masters degree in psychology after ba philosophy but you will have to clear an entrance test for most universities. For colleges that take direct admission, ba psychology students are preffered rather than any other subject. However, if you have decent marks, you stand a chance.

What is the scope for Philosophy in Law and in General?

Aman Tripathi 25th Jun, 2019
Hello,

Philosophy of law, also calledjurisprudence, branch ofphilosophythat investigates the nature oflaw, especially in its relation to human values, attitudes, practices, and politicalcommunities. Traditionally, philosophy of law proceeds byarticulatingand defending propositions about law that are general and abstracti.e., that are true not of a specific legal system at a particular time (e.g., the United Kingdom in 1900) but of all legal systems in the present or perhaps of all laws at all times. Philosophy of law often aims to distinguish law from other systems of norms, such asmorality(seeethics) or other social conventions. Views about the nature of law often depend upon, and occasionally have contributed to, answers to some of the most-fundamental philosophical questionsfor example, regarding the foundations of morality, justice, andrights; the nature of humanactionandintention; the relations between social practices and values; the nature ofknowledgeandtruth; and the justification of political rule (seepolitical philosophy). The philosophy of law is therefore anintegralpart of philosophy more generally.

Best of luck
