  • General Chemistry: 4 Q

This might vary by a question or two .

For Physics:

  • Mechanics: 19 Q
  • Thermodynamics : 3 Q
  • Kinetic Theory: 2 Q
  • Electrodynamics: 9 Q

Can i able to complete organic and physical chemistry for jee in 100 days each 50

Prafful Agrawal 16th Jul, 2020
Yeah definitely you can complete the physical and organic chemistry in 100 days .
My advice is to choose one good question book for both and refer to your notes or NCERT for theory.

Target for 50-60 days to complete both the books.
While solving books, mark the important questions so that during revision you can save your time and also make a notebook for shortnotes which will contain all the formulas, important theo. points and exceptions.

You can choose MS chouhan for organic chemistry and N Avasthi for physical chemistry.

One small advice, learn all the exceptions in chemistry especially from organic and inorganic because most of the questions are asked from exceptions.

Best of luck.

If the first order reaction involves gaseous reactants and gaseous products the unit of its rate is?

ARYAN SAGAR 18th Sep, 2020
Let the gaseous reaction be :-

A----> B
Now,

The rate of the first-order gaseous reaction can be written as:
r = k[A] {k = rate constant}

Now,

The general unit of rate constant k is given as = {(mol / L)^(1-n)} / (time)

Where, n = order of reaction
And time can be in sec, min, hour, etc.

So unit of rate constant k for 1st order ( n = 1 ) gaseous reaction is : 1 / (time)

Now, for gaseous reactions, the concentrations are measured in terms of partial pressure .

So, [A] will have the unit of pressure. Now, taking the unit of pressure as atm we will proceed you can take any other unit of pressure also, but we will proceed with general pressure unit i.e atm.

Therefore, the unit of rate (r) will be : atm / time

Where, (time can be in sec, min, hour, etc.)

[ Note : 1atm = 101325 Pascals ]
[ Note : Pascal is SI unit of Pressure ]

how many questions out of 25 are asked in jee mains papaer from physical organic and inorganic part separately and of 25 how many questions are from physical chemistry of class 11th just tell plzzz

rajaman9300 Student Expert 26th Jun, 2020

This will be the first time JEE mains will be conducted for 300 marks hence predicting is quite difficult but if you consider previous year question patter then you can get a idea.

Mainly Organic chemistry has 45% weightage overall. Remaining 55% questions are divided between Physical and Inorganic with Physical being the dominant one.

I am gain saying, these are just patterns and nothing more.

All the best!!

is op tandon good for physical chemistry plzz tell fast if I want to get full marks in itand plzz tell out of 100 marks how many marks is of physical chemistry in jee mains now out of 100

S. Saha Student Expert 26th Jun, 2020
Uzma, OP Tandon is extremely a good book for preparing for Chemistry. But first, you must complete NCERT textbooks of Class 11 and 12. NCERT is helpful for having basic preparation and clear concept. Then you can move on to OP Tandon. OP Tandon is basically recommended for Organic Chemistry. Approx 10 to 12 questions are asked from Physical Chemistry in Jee Main. Concept of Physical Chemistry by P Bahadur is another book to help you with your preparation in physical chemistry. This book contains set of quality problems.
