Hi Sam,

Yes, it's true. Each question of Mathematics in MHT CET exam carry 2 marks. Total 50 questions are asked for Mathematics. In which 10 questions are from XI and 40 from XII will be asked. For more details refer the link https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-exam-pattern.

The admissions are based on 12th merit and if you have required percentage then gap wont create any problem but few colleges may be asking for an affidavit to be submitted. Also, the cut off varies college, year and course wise so to get a rough idea about the required
