Some of the factors are:
1- Difficulty level of examination
2- No. of students appeared in exam
3- Category of an individual etc.
However
Irodov (physics) is usually recommended for jee advanced but you should try the book from the very beginning because while practicing you will get into the flow for solving the level of questions that are asked in examination.
I would suggest you to firstly strengthen your jee mains base
