Being a Assistant professor of Zoology requires the eligibility of NET qualification along with a PhD (mandatory for Universities) or MSc (some colleges do recruit). Now for MSc, there are not much need of Physics as elgibility criteria for Zoology. So your brother, isn't expected to face any problem laterwards

Yes you are eligible to appear in NEET UG 2022 (if you are pass in all theory papers of PCB apart from practical), this because as per your category i.e. OBC, you should have aggregate in PCB either equal to or more than 40% and you fulfil this

If you are an Indian citizen, the eligibility criteria for NEET (UG) 2022 includes that the candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.

Also, candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time

Yes you are absolutely eligible for pursuing Btech focused in biotechnology without any issue.

See, the basic eligibity criteria for pursuing biotechnology engineering is a candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognized board of india  from Physics, chemistry and biology subjects.

So definitely you are eligible

Yes you can appear for NEET UG even if you don't have Physics in your B.Sc. course provided that you follow the given eligibility criteria for 10+2

For 10+2 or equivalent :-
