Can i include computer science instead of maths as one the subject while calculating my best 4 for B.SC polymer science (hon.) in DU as i got [ mathematics-75, physics-83, computer science-90,english-91 & chemistry-86] can i inlude chemistry,english (as a language),physics & computers in best 4?

Hello Sanjay,

The calculation of best 4 for meeting the cutoff for B.Sc hons. in Polymer Science should compulsorily include one language subject along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics only.

Therefore, you cannot include computer science marks instead of Mathematics.

the basic eligibility criteria to appear in jee main exam is candidates must complete 12th exam in science stream from a recognized education board.  Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2 / qualifying examination.

With the aggregate of 75%, you can surely apply for IISER entrance exam as it qualifies the minimum cut off to apply that is 60% aggregate for the GEN/OBC and OBC-NCL categories students and 55% for the SC/ST/PWD.

  • Geometry (mainly triangular geometry and circular geometry)
