my physics and chemistry marks in 12th is 95 each and my bio is 95 and biotech is 97 . can I use my biotech marks instead of bio for cutoff calculation in du for zoology Hons.

Yes, you can surely do that. The Eligibility criteria for DU B.SC Zoology is mentioned below:

  • You need to have aggregate 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry.

As, Biotechnology is a mentioned subject, even if you use it in place of Biology, there will be no reduction in marks.

The basic criteria to get an entry inMSC (Master in Science), you need to have a degree in BSC (Bachelor's in Science) from a recognized university or college with atleast 50-60% marks in the graduation .

It doesn't matter which subject you choose in bachelors physics, chemistry or maths

  • English Honors
  • Hindi Honors
  • Computer Science Honors
  • BCA

You cannot pursue Physics Honors since PCM is required to be eligible.

Yes, you need to pass in both theory and practical examination.

This is because,

When you fail in theory, you fail in that subject and thus fail in class 12th.
