HC Verma is surely one of the best books regarding Physics. But in order to do the sums given there you need to have  a basic concept about the formulas and tricks. Do refer to books from Arihant, Disha then start doing H.C. Verma.

Chemistry- NCERT is enough

Physics- ncert as well as Hc verma
