A permanent magnet in the shape of a thin cylinder of length 10cm has M=10 power6 A/M .calculate magnetization current?

DIVYANSHI SAXENA Student Expert 23rd Jul, 2019

dear student,

According to the problem , M ( intensity of magnetisation ) = 10^6 A / m

l ( length ) = 10 cm = 10 × 10^-2 = 0.1 m

i(m) = magnetisation current

By applying simple formulae => M = i(m)/ l

hence,  i(m) = M ×

A thin road is cut into 10 equal parts parallel to its length .the intensity of magnetization of each piece is

Abhishek Roy Student Expert 23rd Jul, 2019

Hey!There

Magnetic intensity won't get affected by parallel cuttoff..This will affected when you cut it vertically by same factor magnetic intensity will reduce..As new pole will generate each time during cutting vertically..

I hope this will helpful to you...

GOOD LUCK!
