For getting admission into Engineering you just have , PCM in 12th grade . Nothing else 

As you had mentioned above are those marks in boards or JEE Mains scorecard . 

If that in boards, your ward should have  above 60 percent above in boards to get admissions

physics is combination of formulas and concepts. yes you may do some maths which is totally formula based if you know what the terms are you may solve the problems. you have not mention which exam you are talking about. but most of the physics paper there are

Hi Rahul!
In IIT JAM Physics 2019, qualifying marks for general category are 24.99, for OBC is 22.49 and for SC/ST it is 12.49. You surely stand a good chance for NIT in counselling of JAM 2019. You should completely go through your counselling rounds based on your preferences.
