Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 24th Jul, 2021

hi,

list of college name which offers b.sc in physiology course in Kolkata:

Surendranath College, Kolkata

Vidyasagar College, Kolkata

Bhairab Ganguly College, Kolkata

Sister Nibedita Government General Degree College For Girls, Kolkata

Vidyasagar College for Women, Kolkata

Bangabasi Evening College, Kolkata

*** now coming to cutoff score, it depends on some of the determining factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, number of applicant for any particular stream etc.

so it is quite difficult to predict the cutoff, however if your score is around 85+ percentage in 12th , you have decent chances for selection in the above mention college.

Im pursuing B.Sc.(Hons.) 1st year from AIIMS Patna with Nursing Foundation, Sociology, Physiology, Nutrition, Biochemistry and anatomy as subjects. what should be my qualifying examination code for NEET-2021?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Jul, 2021

Hi

You need to choose the code 02.

This is because,

Though you are doing BSc hons with subjects mentioned by you your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology remains 10 + 2  .

While those who are doing bsc and have all the 3 i. e physics, chemistry and biology in bsc needs to choose code 5 and those who have completed bsc with at least any two out of physics,  chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.

I have completed my bsc with physiology, zoology, botany as subjects. (2020) I did not have phy or chem. Therefore if I choose code 2 in neet form wont it hamper my admission into a medical college? As because I have to show TC or migration, will it be of school or college as per that code?

Anurag Khanna 18th Jul, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

As you don't have Physics and Chemistry in your B.Sc 1st year program so your highest qualification with PCB is class 12th so you should use code 02. And don't worry it won't create any problem for you as far as matter of TC and migration certificate, when you will leave the current college you will get back your TC and Migration certificate of your school from where you had passed your class 12th, so you can submit it in your new college.

Sohamsengupta8 26th May, 2021

Hello Student

If you wish to do  achieve the degree of MBBS then you have  to appear in the Neet exam after doing the BSc Honours physiology.other than if you wish to do higher degree like MSc and PhD in Physiology you can do the job of a professor or lecturer in the colleges..

Professionally MBBS degree is more returnable degree which can you give the position of practitioner as a registered doctor after doing PG courses in medical science you can achieve more honour and money e at the same time.

Now it is your decision what will be do.

Hope for the best.

I am unable to choose that what should I do after BSC(HONOURS) PHYSIOLOGY, its doing MSC or give the IIT JAM exam , or take admission in BEED course, plz help me!!

pdwords Student Expert 26th May, 2021

Hello,

BEd is compulsory for a career in teaching at school level, however in case of university teaching it isn't necessary, BEd along with master's degree will make you eligible for PGT if you appear for CTET or you can also consider state level TETs, you can choose to go ahead with BEd if not MSc if working is a priority for you, if you're interested in career in research or university level teaching then choose appearing for IIT JAM, after master's degree you can appear for CSIR NET and if you qualify JRF you will also receive stipend which is good enough for science stream candidates, and you can qualify for lectureship through NET or even SET which is conducted at state level and in both cases there is no upper age limit.

If I take admission in MSC in physiology,is there be any advantage of WB JEE, IIT JAM,NEET marks?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 26th May, 2021
Hello,

No you won't be getting any advantage of your NEET, or any state or national level entrance exam marks while taking admission in M.Sc course. This is simply because those are separate exams and their marks are used for separate course. When you will apply for MSc you will have to appear for the entrance exam of the respective institute or admission will be based on merit depending on the college where you are taking admission. And if youbare aiming for top colleges then you will have to clear IIT JAM.

I hope this helps.
