Pilot recruitment can be of 2 types- commercial pilot or airforce pilot. Since you choose to become the airforce pilot, you will first have to qualify NDA examination after which you will be given training for 3 years at NDA, Khadakwasla following which you will be comissioned as a permanent commision officer and airforce pilot.

Placements in MSU : 

Mostly companies like TCS, INFOSYS, TECH-M, COGNI, L&T INFO-TECH, visit M.S University Start of final semester. These Indian Companies offer in range of 2.9 LPA ( Tech- M being the lowest) to 3.5 LPA including variable component.

Apart from this, AMDOCS visits MSU. They offer 4.2 LPA (fix) and it is one of  the best company to start your career with. 

Google once visited MSY for placement in 2008.

There are some lesser known companies like Matrix, Investis, etc. Which also schedule a drive for job opportunities.  They generally offer in range of 2.5 LPA to 3.0 LPA.

Automobile engineering is not upto that level which you will find in IIT Madras, NIT Warangal and IIT Roorkee. Companies do visit the campus but the core companies that visit the campus are less .

Companies like TATA Motors, TATA Steel ,Vedanta , Bajaj do not visit the campus. More than 60% of the batch are placed in the Analytics field. Some of the percentage is placed in the SDE Area and then after all this they are placed in core sector
