pilot
Dear student,
The height required is around 164 cms. A navy pilot must be atleast 5 feet 2 inches tall but also not talker than 6 feet inches.
Hi Aspirant,
There are two type of Pilot variants. One for whom flying is just a hobby, others regards it as his/ her career. Two different programs are available for the two kinds of pilots. For the hobby the PPL (Private Pilot License) is available, while for the pilots looking for a career in the aviation industry its the CPL (Commercial Pilot License).
To become a pilot after B.E in Mechanical Engineering :
Hope this is clear
Thanks
Hi,
Entrance ExamNDA Exam
Eligibility10+2 in Science (MPC)/Commerce
LicenseCommercial Pilot License (CPL)
Salary2 Lakhs to 5 Lakhs
Fees of Pilot Training Courses15 Lakhs to 20 Lakhs
Student is an Indian, wishes to go for a Commercial Pilot Licence on a Cessna 152 (2 seater)
Admission fee to a Flying club: 25,000 INR
200 Hours fee at 6500 INR per hour = 13,00,000 INR
Class 2 initial and Class 1 medical tests costs = 7,000 INR approx
Ground class (generally negotiable) = 1,00,000 INR
to reach an Airbus 320 rating you need a Multi Engine rating which would cost you
5. 6,00,000 INR (approx)
6. and type rating on Airbus 320 will cost you approx 25,00,000 INR more.
So I would say the final price tag for your (employable)Pilot Training would be around 45 Lakh INR (plan it as a minimum)
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
Hello Tejaswini Buwa,
To become a pilot you need to know Basic algebra, Ordinary arithmetic , conversion and you have to be accurate in calculations and that does not include advanced math or calculus .
So, even if you're bad in math you can still become a pilot (reasons above).
And coming to the second part of your query, you should be atleast 5'4 to be eligible to become a pilot in IAF but in case of other Commercial airlines required height is 5'1 .
To know more about Pilot as a career check the following page,

Hello student,
Yes obviously. Nothing to ID although you have glasses you also can be a pilot. Just for the eligibility test you have to pass medical class 1 certificate. The eyesight eligibility criteria depends upon countries but according DGCA India regulations you must should have 6/6 vision. Now as you have glasses you may know what is is that means. For that you have to read the 6th line of Snellen chart from distance of 6 m. Also you should not have Colours blindness.
You haven't mentioned your eyes issues that's why it is quite not possible to go through all of this. You may go through the link below to know how to become a pilot https://www.careers360.com/courses/cpl-commercial-pilot-license/amp
Yes according to the new on demand policy of NIOS, students can give examination of mathematics only. You can register for those on the papers for which you have taken admission. This makes the exam flexible and students comfortable and they can give their exams according to their satisfaction. The examination is government certified and eligible in all government and private sectors
