Harsha Sinha 17th Sep, 2021

Hi there,

Since you have secured a rank of 34,800 in the obc category then you might not be able to get the civil engineering seat at your preferred college, but there are other colleges as well where you could definitely get a civil branch like BIT Sindri.

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 31st Jan, 2021

Hey!

It is quite popular that VIT is known for its placement records specially for CSE, IT, ECE and EIE. So, as per the reviews the placement record for instrumentation in VIT is considerable in the companies such as  Amazon, Deloitte, TCS etc. with average salary package of 6-8 lakhs. Also, Pimpri chinchwad college has good placement record for mechanical engineering students, upto 80% in the companies like Tech-Mahindra, 3DPLM, KPIT etc. with salary package upto 4-8 LPA. So, you can choose college depending on your interest as the placement record for both colleges is good.

which is best for CS : cummins pune or pccoe pune

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 22nd Jan, 2021

Hey!

Cummins college of engineering pune and Pimpri Chinwad college both provides good facilities to students including infrastructure, well equipped labs, hosel facilities, internet facilities etc. Also, the faculty/staff members are masters in their subjects. They are always ready to help students. Moving on to the placement records, Cummins college and pimpri both provide good placement opportunities to students, but the highest salary package for cummins is around 40 LPA and Pimpri has quite low around 25 LPA (as per the reviews). So it depends on you to choose the college, basically if you want to take admission in co-ed college you must go for Pimpri, otherwise go for Cummins.
