Definitely IIT has much better placements than nit it's average is 15 lpa while nits has 9 lpa, but still there are some nits whose placement are better than some low ranked iits.
But overall iits has better placements than nit.

When compared between the both colleges IISER Berhampur college is great in terms of academics, placements and facilities. The college has a good record of placements according to the data and the faculty here is great which helps the students to understand the subjects better.

Highest package offered is 40Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered id around 2lakhs per annum and average package offered is around 7-8 Lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Adobe, IBM, Wipro, TCS, etc.
