Placement wise Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering college is better than Andhra University. But when it comes to packages Andhra University comes up with the best packages. VR Siddhartha's fee is bit expensive than Andhra university. Andhra University offers more courses  than VR siddartha engineering college. Andhra university is the oldest university when comapred to VR Siddhartha. If you want have highest pay go for Andhra University. And if you want placement options choose VR Siddhartha. placements at jntuk or srkr the best option to choose

Ankit Meher 22nd Oct, 2020

placements are very good till 2016. as it was affiliated to andhra University. Faculty are very experienced and qualified. SRKR is the one of the top 5 colleges in new Andhra pradesh. Every year huge placements are being conducted by Tata consultancy services [TCS]. on average 200 to 450 students are placed in TCS. A few more companies like Igate, solaris, capegemini, and a mnc’s like thought works also being conducting placements held in srkr. overall a good figure of placements are there in SRKR ENGINEERING COLLEGE BHIMAVARAM.  I am a 5 yr integrated course student. As far as placements are considered 4 yr Btech students are more preferred to 5 yr integrated students in many companies.

Which one has better placements for BBA, LPU or CU?

When it comes to BBA placements , LPU (Lovely Professional University) tends to have a better track record compared to Chandigarh University . LPU has a dedicated placement cell that works extensively with top national and international companies across various sectors, ensuring that students have access to a wide range of job opportunities. The university boasts strong industry connections with leading companies like HDFC Bank , Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) , Deloitte , and Amazon , which regularly visit the campus for recruitment. Furthermore, LPU offers numerous career development programs, soft skills training, and personality development sessions, which enhance students' employability. The university's excellent infrastructure, industry tie-ups, and consistent placement success make it a more favorable choice for BBA students seeking lucrative job opportunities in various fields such as marketing , finance , and human resources . While Chandigarh University also provides good placements, LPU's larger scale and diverse campus make it a better option for those prioritizing high placement chances.

in between nit Goa and nit Raipur ..which college has more placements in ECE

Tunir Sikdar 22nd Oct, 2020

Hi,

NIT Raipur is better than Goa because of better placements especially in the department you have mentioned - ECE.

The average package offered in Raipur is 7 LPA which is better than Goa  where range is like 4-5 LPA. The placement rate is approximately 78.5%. Many companies like Wipro, Mahindra, Taxes Steel, Vedanta, etc. in Raipur which is higher than that of Goa.

Also Raipur offers better college facilities and infrastructure.

how is Jss science and technology for cse? what is the total fees including hostel through comedk.? how is the life of a north Indian there? are there any north Indians? what is language of teaching there. how is infrastructure and what is the average placements for cse 2020 batch. comk rank 2709

arpan00002 7th Nov, 2020

Hi aspirant,

You asked about the review of the JSS Science & Technology.

So, here is the full review:

There are people from all over India. One can make friends here with anyone regardless that they are from North, South, East or West. Many from south teach one another Kannada which one can found one of the most interesting languages to learn.

Fees is around 1.06 lakhs for 1st yr.

There are more than 120 companies which come every year in JSS S&TU for placements(number of companies visited for this yr : 190+). In this college one has the two job policy i.e, we can accept two offers from tier 1(<5 lpa), tier 2(5–15 lpa) and tier 3(>15 lpa). Many colleges do not have this kind of facility and supports.

All the best  !!

I got iiitdm kancheepuram mechanical engineering 4yrs btech is it good to join there and placements?

pkp.inutail 22nd Oct, 2020

Greetings, Jagan.

IIITDM Kancheepuram is definitely a good college (many rating websites have rated it generously). The college has a 52 acre campus appreciated by all the current students which is always a plus in my books!

Now, regarding your query - from the data and reviews I could find and read online (I did a lot of searching and reading), it appears that internship and placement opportunities for Mechanical Branch at IIITDMK are average as in the avg. package offered in 2019 (to Mech graduates) was around 4-8 Lacs per annum and the placement rate for the Mech branch also seems to be on the lower side (with around 32 Mech students placed in 2019)

so the pros include - great campus, good faculty, good hostel

and the cons include - average placements and internships, distance from city (about 50Kms)

If you are aiming for further studies after Engineering then I'd personally advice to go for it but if your circumstances demand you to be placed right after college into a good job then I don't think it is worth the risk (assuming the placement rates remain same 4 years from now)

If you have other alternatives then do compare them in terms of placements but if you are sure that you can somehow find better opportunities on your own (out of campus placements, finding good internships on your own, etc.) then you may very well survive with a good job at the end.

It is up to you so take your time but don't miss the deadlines! best of luck for your Engineering experiences ahead.
