PMMS is a Prime Ministers Special Scholarship Scheme . This is not any entrance exam and to get admission in MBBS or BDS college you have to give NEET entrance exam which is mandatory . PMMS will only give you scholarship to pursue your course byt will not allow you to get admission you have to give entrance exams . Further to be eligible for NEET entrance exam you should have minimum 50 % in physcis , chemistry and biology from a recognised board of council .

This is exactly true. PSMSSS is only eligible for those Candidates who wish to study MBBS outside Jammu and Kashmir. Now Jammu and Kashmir has 100% State Quota and those Candidates who wish to participate in All India Counseling, need to sign a self declaration form stating that they are not eligible for State Quota and that is the reason they are participating in All India Quota. This means those Candidates who hold the domicile of Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible for PSMSS scheme for studying MBBS.

If you would have mentioned your Board then I could tell you even more clear but yeah 73% is not that bad as also you belong to backward category so yeah there are chances that your name will come in any of the cutoffs in pmss counselling so wait and keep yourself updated by regularly visiting their official website.
