Pmsss consider pass out year or academic year for eligibility?

pdwords Student Expert 30th Mar, 2021

Hello,

If we go through the official notification of PMSSS of last year, ie...year 2020 then it clearly specifies that students passing out from session 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 are eligible to apply for this scholarship, hence if you have passed out in 2020 or passing out this year then as per the norms you'll be eligible for this provided you have passed 10+2 from a recognized board, other than this candidates are required to have a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir, and enrolled in general degree or any other professional courses, family income shouldn't be more than eight lakhs per annum, for more details regarding this, check out FAQS at https://www.aicte-india.org/sites/default/files/Final%202%20Frequently%20Asked%20Questions%2020_21%20as%20on%2024.6.2020.pdf

what if I want to leave my pmsss allotted college in 3rd semester and now want to join another college from the first semester

Subhrajit Mukherjee 28th Jan, 2021

You can do that by cancelling your present admission in the college. After that you have to get admitted in new college and then edit your application in PMSSS. They will deduct the scholarship or will not avail you scholarship in your 1st year.

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
