If you are talking about BA(Political Science) then there will be 3– 4 core subjects that is compulsory to study political processes in India, public administration, constitution of India, comparative political, global politics etc are some of the subjects in political science hons.
I would suggest you to use the books preferred by the teachers/professors in your college. It is highly like to get questions from those books. So make sure to go through your college website to find out the books listed for reference. Asking the faculties would be of help too.

The Fee for any M.A. programme in JNU per semester is around Two Hundred Eighty Rupees. The mess bill if you do get a hostel comes around Two Thousand.
