Rhea Kapoor 11th Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant!

There is a pretty decent chance of getting an admission in an average, if not good, college since the eligibility criteria for MA Political Science through merit in University of Delhi is that the candidate applying should score more than 60% marks or above or equivalent, in case you have completed your bachelor's from University of Delhi itself.

However, if you have completed your graduation from some other university and belong to general category, it may be difficult for you to seek admission this year.

All the best!

can i give NET exam .through political science

pdwords Student Expert 27th Oct, 2021

Hello,

Are you enquiring about UGC NET, if so then the eligibility criteria to appear for UGC NET in Political Science paper is passed master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university securing 55% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, if you have completed or want to pursue MA in political science, you can appear for UGC NET if you obtain the required aggregate against your respective category, there is no upper age limit for assistant professor, however due to covid only the upper age limit for JRF was extended till 31 years for general category candidates. there is also CSIR NET which is specifically for science subjects such as chemical science, physical science, mathematical science, earth science, biological science, hence if you possess master's degree in any of the aforementioned related domains with 55% aggregate for UR, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories then you are eligible to appear for the same, in case of JRF the upper age limit here is 28 years and for assistant professor there is no upper age limit.

Hello Student,

Congrants as you graduated. As per your query i would say that IGNOU conducts examination in the month of June and December. It also offers the courses through CBCS. It will be good for you to choose this as you been used to it even in your graduatio. Politcal Science is also a good course. The course is for two years. 9000 to 10000 is the course fee. Go for it, as it is a part of your interest.
