Yes you can go for admission into political science courses even if you don't have political science in your class 12th.
The colleges which accepts admission on merit based on the percentage in class 12th like DELHI UNIVERSITY, they provide admission to students of other streams in arts stream.
There will surely be a deduction in your percentage as a penalty because you haven't studied political science and after the deduction if you met the cut off you will be given admission.

First of all as of now there is no official notification released regarding admission schedule of postgraduate courses in Delhi University, School of Open Learning but it's expected that application form may be out by this month, you can stay updated at the official website of DU SOL at sol.du.ac.in regarding this, or you can also follow our page at https://university.careers360.com/articles/du-sol-admissions for the latest information, admission to MA Political Science is done in two ways - 50% seats are filled through direct admission on the basis of the merit of the qualifying examination meant only for candidates belonging to Delhi University, and rest of 50% gets filled through entrance test.
