So, as you haven't included concerned subject that is Political Science from list B there will be a reduction of 1% in best four. If you include Political Science Instead of Commerce or Economics or legal studies there will be no deduction in best four percentage.
Hello student the first and second year student of DU SOL will be promoted on their previous year /semester performances and assignments so examination will not conduct as you're in second year of BA Pol science.

Its is quite natural to feel this kind of dilemma. Firstly UPSC requires a graduation degree in any discipline so you can choose any field based on your choice. But if you take into account the work profile of IAS or any administration job then BA political science would be helpful. Also BA will give your more time to focus on other activities.
