No, such coaching classes do not exist inside the college. General engineering curriculum is only followed. You need to prepare on your own for various exams like GATE or CAT. You can also join classes in the city if you require. Its better to prepare with other students as it develops a competition environment.

Major factor which should be kept in mind to join any course  in any of the college is placement.average salary would be 2 lakh per annum .highest would be around 3.05 or 4 lakh per annum. since you got ECE you can expect companies with 5-8 LPA. so i would suggest to go for Pondicherry Engineering College .

Pondicherry engineeirng college is one of the best colleges. The Computer science and electronics braches usually have more demand than that of the other core branches. In terms of placements, CSE is slightly more better than ECE due to more number of placements. But if you are interested in ECE branch, you must go for it.

There is a gradual increase in placements within the college. They have a training and placement centre where students are nurtured to face any condition. Irrespective of the department there exists a wide exposure with companies. Some of the companies that visited the college recently were Amazon, HCL, Infosys, Zoho, Cognizant, Tech Mahendra, Bosch, sap, Wipro, Flipkart, Broadcom, TCS, MRF and TVS.

hey dear, the faculty in pondicherry engineering college is much diversified.unlike new colleges,that have only new M .tech grades as HOD's ,each dept. has good count of professor and Assoc professor who did cmpleted their phd from reputed institutions.The infrastructure is very good over there and atmosphere is also good.

Placements : As of this year (2019), 51 companies visited the college, and there were 373 offers for 314 students. The highest package offered was 10 Lacs per annum, and the average CTC was 4 Lacs per annum. IT product-based companies offered 13% placements, IT service-based companies offered 29% placements, core companies offered 32% placements, consulting companies offered 16% placements, sales and marketing companies offered 5% placements. The banking sector has also offered placements.

Infrastructure : PEC has a huge library. Open Wi-Fi and classroom facilities are good. The campus is lush green. There is a dispensary in college. Hostels are very good, and the food provided is also good. Sports facilities like cricket, football, handball, throw ball, chess, carrom board, javelin throw, disc throw, etc., are available.

Faculty : Almost every faculty is a PhD holder with a minimum experience of 10 years. Faculty members are very helpful and always motivating. Their teaching is superb, and every teacher is knowledgeable. They are also very supportive. They also help us with projects and competitions.
